Welcome to the official Heart of Somerset Tourism web site.  Located centrally between the north and south coasts the area is home to The Blackdown, Brendon and Quantock Hills, Somerset Levels and Moors and the market towns of Taunton, Wellington and Wiveliscombe, the gateway to Exmoor National Park.

Summer in Somerset is a great time and despite the weather there is plenty to see and do inside or out with quality assured accommodation, natural landscapes, attractions, arts, culture, events and great eateries for all tastes.
